The Real Game

A short course will delivered in school helping to educate pupils about what it is like once they leave school.

The Real Game gets pupils to consider the things they want in life when they progress into adulthood e.g. the job they would like to do, the house/flat they would like to live in, the car/motorbike they would like to drive and any leisure activities they would like to participate in. These ideas are cut and put into a dream cloud (a drawn cloud on a piece of paper), pupils then have to consider the cost of their choices by doing a simple budget task and look at how much they will earn in their chosen job. The overall aim of Real Game is to get pupils thinking about what they could earn and therefore have, if they work hard at school, college and in time in their job.
