Differentiation for SEND in the mainstream classroom
Overview
This course will provide strategies to support the inclusion of SEND pupils in mainstream education. Practitioners will be exploring a range of strategies to support pupils with an SEND including:
- Multi-sensory activities developing differentiated lesson plans and worksheets
- Identifying how to support independence
- The creation of social skills through differentiated work
- Accessing the curriculum through scaffolding tasks
- Developing an environment conducive to SEN learning
- Promoting the positive participation in each lesson
Practitioners will receive examples of good practice and information on facilitating differentiated outcomes to pupils.
