Before coming to Woodlane, I felt kind of nervous because I was told what woodlane was like. I watched the transition video with my mum and it was reassuring because it seamed like it was a nice school. I attended the transition lessens which were fun and I was with the year 7 pupils. in the induction evening, we were given a teddy bear, a bottle and a comic book in a woodlane bag. the comic book was helpful because it had school expectations and it help me prepper for my first day of school. on the first day of school, I felt exited and nervous because I didn't know my way around the school. everyone is usually worried about making friends but I made lots of friends quickly because everyone is so friendly and kind.

When I went for the transition day, I was scared but when a TA said there are therapy dogs, I lit up because i love dogs. When the transition letters came, my mum read the letter to me and I was looking forward to the transition lessons. The transition lesson was different to my primary school but the teachers helped me to adjust and I enjoyed the lesson. I liked the transition bag. I still use this and the transition bear is so cuddly and cute. I play with it everyday before school. On my first day, I felt nervous because there were so many pupils but I got to know them. Now I feel happy and I love this school because of the therapy dogs and everyone here is so kind and nice especially the teachers. I love the behaviour reward trips.
