Update on Covid-19
An update on National Restrictions and Support for your Child
I hope that this letter finds you and your family well. This continues to be a testing time and we are aware that so many of you are trying to maintain a balance between working and supporting your children with their education and I want to thank you all for your continued support. Our lives are once again being impacted significantly by Covid-19, but whilst a return to normality feels a way off we have hope that more positive news is on the way soon.
A number of our staff and pupils tested positive for Covid-19 during the break but all have recovered and are back working remotely or in our limited in-school provision. For those of you with friends/family who are suffering during this time we send our best wishes for a speedy recovery.
I am sure you will be just as keen as we are to know when school will open to all pupils again. You may have seen from the most recent news that we now do not expect to return before 8th March. We will begin planning for this return date, but caution is advised as the situation continues to change rapidly. As soon as we receive further information on this we will inform you.
We are pressing on with improving our remote learning offer to all pupils. Our goal is to ensure the curriculum and experiences they receive are personalised and support their academic/personal development. Thank you for all of your help and feedback on this over the last 4 weeks.
