Woodlane was awarded the SILVER Artsmark award in November 2023. Our Statement of Impact was submitted  and has been assessed by the Arts Council. It is available to read below. The Artsmark Award is an initiative by Arts Council England to be used by schools as a practical and valuable tool for enriching a school’s arts provision whatever the starting point. 

We are very proud to have achieved this prestigious award which demonstrates our ongoing commitment to providing a varied and engaging range of learning opportunities within the arts for children who attend our school. Our aim is to ensure cultural  education gives our pupils the opportunities to develop their creativity.  

We are excited to announce that we have already started working towards our next Artsmark Award for the academic year 2025/26. This year our focus will be to further enrich and develop the Performing Arts programme at Woodlane. We are aiming to enhance pupil confidence and provide further opportunities for pupils to showcase their skills/talents. We will continue to update the website throughout the process.
