Industrial Action – NUT one day strike by staff on 28th March
We would like to advise you of the industrial action by the NUT on 28th March in relation to the proposed changes to public sector pensions. This will disrupt the school’s ability to maintain its education provision on this day.
This school takes the education of your children very seriously and will endeavour to ensure that the school remains open. However, after careful assessment of the probable numbers of staff striking we have decided to keep the school open for Years 7,9,10 and 11 only. These pupils should attend school as normal. Year 8 will unfortunately have to stay at home on that day.
We therefore feel it is appropriate to notify you as Year 8 parents may need to make arrangements for alternative childcare.
