GDPR

An update from the school in response to the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).

As I am sure you are aware, the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) are about to come in to operation. All organisations, including schools, must review the data we keep, process and share. Much of the data items the school processes are necessary for us to operate and are covered by the six lawful bases outlined in the regulations. We always take the upmost care to manage and process any data, lawfully, fairly and in a transparent manner. We also will only collect the data we need for a specific purpose, ensure it is maintained accurately and store it securely until it is no longer required.

The school has sent the following letter (please download below) and we ask that all parents and carers read it carefully and send their responses back to school.

In addition to this letter, we have introduced a Privacy Notice which can be found on our GDPR section of the website.
